Dr. Sudheesh Manoharan is a dedicated Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist with more than 5 years of experience in the subject. He is specialized in the management of cancers of mouth, throat, voice box, face, and neck. He is well trained in the surgical management of oral cancers, head and neck reconstruction and management of complications and emergencies in surgical oncology.

 Being a Head and Neck Surgeon, Dr. Sudheesh Manoharan’s area of interest includes

  • Surgical management of cancers of face, lips, cheek, tongue, jaw bones, skin cancers of head, face and neck
  • Reconstruction of jaw bones (Mandible), tongue, cheeks and other areas of face and mouth.
  • Laser surgery

Dr. Sudheesh Manoharan is committed to the society and gives frequent cancer awareness classes to the public. He believes that good communication and patient education are essential for better patient care.

The MVRCCRI, set up by the Care Foundation initiated by Calicut City Service Cooperative Bank, is situated on 17 acre property at Vellalaserri in Kozhikode district with 300 bed strength spread over six lakhs square feet area. The Centre is named after the late CMP leader M. V. Raghavan. Inaugurated on January 17 2017, both the OP and IP departments are functional from January 18 2017. The Hospital established at a cost of INR 350 Crore has spent INR 150 crore for acquiring the latest Equipment.
