Dr. K S Vijayagopal is trained in the best institutes in India with more than 15 years experience in cancer management. His special interest areas are Radiation Therapy for head and neck malignancies, brain tumors and lung and thoracic tumors.

Dr. K.S. Vijayagopal has expertise in advanced radiation therapy techniques like radio surgery SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, 3DCRT in the treatment of brain tumors, skull base tumors, tumors involving nasopharynx, oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, esophageal cancers, tumors involving salivary glands and thyroid thymic and thoracic malignancies and lung tumors.

Dr. K.S. Vijayagopal is proficient in English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. He is proud to be a part of MVRCCRI team to help the patients sail through the treatment successfully and be part of research and innovative activities.

The MVRCCRI, set up by the Care Foundation initiated by Calicut City Service Cooperative Bank, is situated on 17 acre property at Vellalaserri in Kozhikode district with 300 bed strength spread over six lakhs square feet area. The Centre is named after the late CMP leader M. V. Raghavan. Inaugurated on January 17 2017, both the OP and IP departments are functional from January 18 2017. The Hospital established at a cost of INR 350 Crore has spent INR 150 crore for acquiring the latest Equipment.
